My mission

How Enchanted Forest started

All of these events that unfolded carried me down a certain path, which eventually led to the creation of the Enchanted Forest Holistic Centre. My vision was to create not just a business, but a community of like-minded people. A space for people to gain an understanding of how internal change can create external change - not the other way around. If we keep ourselves trapped in the past, we will never heal from our traumas.

Every one of us has been unknowingly conditioned by our families, environment and society, and in the process we forget who we are, and we lose sight of our childhood dreams. Like most of us, my story is a balance between suffering and joy; but I proved to myself that I can overcome challenges and learn from them. I can heal from the inside out. I can be present and focused. I can reach for my dreams. After realizing this, I feel the need to share this learning with others. Everyone is capable of embracing life to the fullest, and living to their highest potential. This is the collective belief of the Enchanted Forest team.

Each of us holds the key to unlock ourselves, to change our belief systems, and to let go of the things we cannot control. The enchanted forest lays inside the heart of every one of us.

My Roles

How Enchanted Forest started

I have taken on many different roles in my life, but I feel my most important role is that of a helper - a therapist, filled with a sense of duty, and a vocation to help others. It is for this reason that I have worked non-stop for years helping people with disabilities, even now in the midst of this Covid-19 crisis.

Other roles I have taken on:

  • Teacher - My aim is to educate people about the power of meditation and how to lead a healthier lifestyle, which is why I decided to return to college here in Ireland and complete the Level 9 Training and Education course at Griffith College Dublin.

  • TRE Provider - During the session I marge everything I know about helping people deal with trauma.

  • Organizer - As someone who has the ability to connect people from different backgrounds, I held a valuable role in the In-Spire Galerie team, organizing workshops and exhibitions. I also organize retreats for women to explore their feminine power, on the beautiful island of La Gomera.

  • Writer & Speaker - Previously I was a presenter for the Polish radio station Hello Irlandia, and wrote articles on psychology and self-development for the Polish website Irlandia.ie.

  • Scientist - I studied Biology and Environmental Science at the University of Silesia, completed a Master’s Degree in Zoology, and worked for a pharmaceutical company.

  • Artist - I discovered my artistic side late in life. I started painting despite being told that I have no artistic talent whatsoever. It was something I never considered possible. In November 2019 I organized an exhibition with four other artists, each of us creating artwork based on five feminine archetypes - “Femina”.

But most of all, deep inside me exists that little girl who spent hours wandering in the forest - a dreamer. Now as an adult, I realize my power to make my dreams come true, and through Enchanted Forest, I hope to help others to do the same.

My story

How Enchanted Forest started

Curiosity and adventure have always been present in my life. As a child, I was blessed with a great imagination, and I was fascinated by the miracle of life. But when I was 7 years old, my entire world collapsed following my parents' divorce. Luckily for me, I had two pillars of support - my grandparents. They lived in a small house in the Beskidy mountains in Poland, on the edge of a big wild forest. For me, the forest was a magical place. I would spend hours wandering the forest floors alone; this enchanted forest became my refuge. I didn't realize it back then, but the forest had helped me to heal.

As I grew older, I kept my curiosity about the miracle of life, and decided to study Biology and Environmental Science at the University of Silesia, and complete a Master’s Degree in Zoology.

In 2003, as the economic situation in Poland was worsening, I made the decision to leave the country - but I did not choose Ireland for economic reasons. For me, Ireland was a romantic fairy tale island, floating in a big wild ocean. I was drawn in by its allure, and I have been here ever since.

But my story doesn’t end there. At around 30 years of age, I discovered that I was deeply unhappy. I realized that I was just not cut out for the corporate job I had in the pharmaceutical industry, and that relationship was no longer fulfilling. I had achieved everything that I thought would bring happiness to me, but still, the happiness was not there. I wanted to feel useful, so I left the pharmaceutical industry and started working with people with disabilities. I tried to heal my relationship, but at the time that was not possible.

Somewhere deep down inside my heart, I had a knowing that I needed to change - internally. I recognized this need to heal. I started to practice meditation, and yoga, I even started to paint and eventually started studying Jungian Psychology at the Jung Centre of Ireland.

I always believed spirituality and science are really the same things. On my healing journey, I realize one puzzle is missing. The bodywork. In 2022 I become a certified TRE provider.
